Shipping
We roast Tuesdays and Fridays and ship same-day on roast days. Orders placed by 8am PT on a roast day go out that afternoon; everything else ships the next roast day. You'll get a tracking link by email the minute the label prints.
US delivery
- USPS Ground Advantage — 3–5 business days. Flat $7.
- UPS 2-Day Air — Flat $18. Order before 8am PT on a roast day to ship same-day.
- Free shipping on orders over $50.
International
Canada and Mexico only. $22 flat, 7–10 business days. Customs fees on you. Sorry — we know that's not most of the world.
Returns
If a coffee shows up wrong
Wrong bag, wrong grind, damaged, late, off in the cup — write hello@tone.coffee with your order number. We'll reship same-day, no return required. (Coffee returns don't really work.)
Unopened coffee, within 14 days
Full refund. Email us and we'll send a prepaid label.
Subscription cancellations
Any time, from your account. Changes made 48h before your next ship date apply to that shipment.
Questions we get a lot
Can I add to an order after it's placed?
If we haven't shipped yet (orders go out the same roast day they're placed, so move fast), yes. Email us with the order number and what to add.
Can I ship to a different address than my billing?
Yes — there's a separate shipping address field at checkout, and you can save multiple addresses on your account.
Gift orders — can I leave the price off?
We don't include invoices in shipped bags. You'll get the receipt by email; the recipient just gets coffee. Gift messages can be added at checkout.
